Finnish pop songs like the acoustic guise

The acoustic sound is to them extraordinarily well. Before 1100 fans, the Finnish pop-rock of “Sunrise Avenue” played on Wednesday evening in the lecture hall Giessen down tight two-hour gig that made shine the songs of their albums “On The Way To Wonderland” and “Popgasm” in a completely new light. Well two years ago, was honored as the then still relatively fresh band “Sunrise Avenue” casting, with a concert in the Hesse Hall. Even then bribed the quintet from Helsinki to the blondschöpfigen heartthrob Samu Haber mainly by ohrwurmartige good hooks and choruses. Playfully, the Finns at that time showed that some weakness, but what’s next – the songs were rearranged for the acoustic tour – is made clear competitive. Just bribe the ballads in Akustkgewand through even more sense to give the audience – mostly young girls and women who adore the pretty boys on the stage – often creeps. Especially the hit “Forever Yours” get through the heavy piano sound emphasizes a sentimental melancholic touch, “Wonderland” is used togoosebumps absolute number. Samu Haber, with his deep and soulful voice is clearly the swarm of girls on stage with his STRUWWEL blond hair and neatly ironed shirt, he is well received by its viewers. Vocally there is nothing to stay – he sings clean, clear and forceful, told in English between one or another anecdote about the song and sometimes a scattering, a German phrase such as “No problem” in the announcements. But not only Haber is the focus of this evening – “Happy Birthday” chorus to pay homage also drummer Sami Osala, the birthday. Humor, the band has also, as in the song “6-0”, which addressed one footballing encounter between Germany and Finland, and sings the Michael Jackson cover “The Way You Make Me Feel”, the guitarist Riku Rajamaa comes through the use of a harmonica Wild West romanticism. Countrylastig presents the jaunty “Happiness,” and clear: In the hit single “Fairytale Gone Bad” to sing with 1,100 throats with laughter. A successful concert that could unfold in the main auditorium its full effect – this should make more such concerts take place.
